Surgery is performed to lift droopy eyelids (ptosis), or procedures are performed to return the eyelids to their functional anatomical position in cases of entropion (eyelids folded and inverted toward the eyeball) or ectropion (eyelids folded and extruded in the opposite direction of the ocular surface).
Consists of dissolving the opaque lens (cataract) through ultrasonic waves emitted by special equipment and being able to aspirate them through self-sealing micro-incisions and placing a clear and transparent intra ocular lens that acts as a natural lens, surgery does not require sutures.
With excimer laser surgery, myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism are corrected, as well as cases of presbyopia or tired eyesight. Depending on the magnitude of the graduation and the needs of each individual patient, vision is corrected with Excimer laser surgery and/or with the placement of special intraocular lenses.
Performed through the total resection of the Pterygium and a conjunctival graft or an amniotic membrane is placed in its place to avoid its recurrence.
The origin of the insertion of the extraocular muscles is modified in order to keep the eyes in an anatomical position in such a way that the ocular deviations are corrected.
Filtering procedures such as Ahmed valve placement are performed for those patients who fail to have good control of intraocular pressure based on medical treatment at maximum treatment doses.
The Chalazion content is drained from the posterior area of the eyelid, leaving no visible scar.
